plus watching alot of anime that's drawn more proportionally realistic helps too.. like where the figures actually have curves in their limbs as opposed to pokemon-type characters :P

proportions? i suppose the first drawing class i ever took last semester helped out with that.. not to mention the perspectives part.. firgure gesture drawing. its a good class to take over and over again .. live model mostly. ^_^
